I have 2 new songs i started working on this week, its a simple 8 bit song for the MAC contest where my goals are simple, to try a new genre! 8bit is really fun and i have never done a song in that genre so its going to be a new and enriching experience!
The other song i am working on is going to be a return to the genre i liked the most, Psychedelic Rock!
Its gonna feature Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Dreamy pads and im aiming for a simple yet beautiful result :D
Both of them are going to be submitted this month so... don't forget to review once they are out!

Oh February, February so small and yet giving me no inspiration at all...
I just finished my Submission for MAC13 and learned some things while doing it that will be useful in the future :)
Now, February is still halfway and i'm currently not involved in any project so i'm thinking about returning to the psychedelic with vocals style before the month is over...that is if inspiration strikes me...

The contest has ended and i got a modest 23rd place out of 49 entries.
While my final position is not good iv learned a lot by participating and had the chance to better myself in several aspects.
I was aiming at a better position in the beginning but that changed after i heard most of the submissions and after a total of 49 songs were submitted to the contest. At that point i stopped having any expectations about this contest so i cant say im disappointed with the 23rd place, i was kind of expecting a middle table ranking...its actually top half so it could be worse xD
Congrats to Buoy, Skye and Trois for their podium and unique contributions!

After a month of hard work i am on the final stages on my submission for the contest Dreams of Splendor!
It is my first song to reach 24 tracks (so far) and is by a long shot the one iv spent more time composing and fixing mistakes before i submit. Im not going to compete with my mind set on any of the prizes so being in the top half of the final scores board would be pretty good and a top 5 amazing.
I would like to thanks Bosa for the contest! The song will be submitted probably before February and i expect reviewers :D

The challenge has begun!
For the first time in my entire history as a musician i plan on using the full extent of time that has been given to contestants to make my song instead of working hard one day and then adding some details on the others.
If anyone's interested its going to be a progressive sad song with some psychedelic features and might have vocals, its basically a very Divo"ish" song :)
My goal on this particular competition is not to win but to make a song i can truly call my best!

This was the year i decided to start posting decent songs and try to make a name for myself here on Newgrounds. I started with no fans and ended the year with 22 that is curiously my age as well xD
I participated in as much contests as i could to make people know me and to improve as an artist, in some of them i failed like in the dance NAC, the RAC7 and the Christmas contests, on the other hand i had moderate success with the:
4th place in Madness day with "OUTMiNd!!"
2nd place in Oct. Nac 12 with "The Malum Ghosts"
4th place in Spooktacular with "March of the Damned"
3rd place in Nov. Nac 12 with "Smile"

I cant say im either happy nor sad with my progress in making music this year, i feel like i progressed a lot but i also feel like i could have progressed more.
I have hopes that in 2013 i can finally get my first win :D

So.....LET THE FANNING BEGIN!!

With the results of Halloween being revealed a few minutes ago i can finally close the page that was October and its scary themes.
I was hoping to rank podiums on both the Halloween and on NAC 12 since the topic on both was something dark and scary, and those are probably some of my favorite things to compose about.
I accomplished my objective by getting 2nd place on NAC 12, the victory went to zipzipper and his amazing song.
The Halloween contest however i let myself down and failed to get to the podium, i got 4th place. Even though i am happy to be top 5 i am also a bit sad that i couldn't reach the podium with my personal favorite piece so far.
Well now to November i am hoping to be a part of the NAC and MAC and also i am a part of Quest for the King by Bosa, not like October, in November i am competing for the experience and not for the podium mainly because i don't have much expectations for the NAC and MAC, and the piece i submited for Bosa's QftK is not nearly as good as what i wanted to have.

I never posted anything on my profile before and that has a pretty simple explanation....4 fans, yeah....even though i love all of you 4 i also know you all and the particular song that made you my "fans", i hope that someday ill lose count of all the faces that are my fans but so far that is not the case ..
Anyway...ill write this for all those that pass by my page and not only my fans so that you know the things that i am working in and possibly make you interested in listening to it once i post..or not...who knows xD
Soooo to the real deal, i am working in 3 songs at the moment. One of them is something i like to do a lot and has been more and more the genre i am more at ease, its a psychedelic song heavily inspired by The Mars Volta, it will probably be posted on NG around October 20 if you are interested. The other 2 songs i am working on are for the october contests going on, the usual NAC 12 for which i am making a song inspired by a story i wrote to get inspiration for the track. The other one is Halloween Spooktacular and i am doing my best to do good on this contest and possibly better than in the Madness competition where i got 4th place.
Not sure if doing this was worth it but i am not going to delete it now...xD
