Totally 80s, you nailed it! A hairy 80s guy should sing over this! xD
Perfect loop!

JDawg00100 responds:

Haha thanks, glad you dig it

Relaxing quiet and yet very powerful. This song makes me wanna float to the middle of the sea and just lay there, hearing the waves and watching the blue sky.
It has some melancholy to it that reminds a bit of Saint Seiya tracks! The loop is a little broken but appart from that its awesome!
It will be a pleasure to face against you in NGADM! :)

larrynachos responds:

I've never been very good at making tracks loop properly, haha ^^; I'm glad you still like it though!

I checked out your tracks as well. You're a formidable opponent indeed. Good luck in the NGADM!

I like the intro man, really like it!
Nice touch with the percussion coming in later, the complain that i have is that maybe you could have changed the song a bit instead of only adding instruments before the 2:30 mark, it can get a bit too much of the same. In the end i would have liked a build up to 3:22 instead of just that "scream".
Overall its a really nice song with nice ideas and a good execution!
Awesome job carl565!! :D

carl565 responds:

Thank you sir!

Yes, I have been known to just introduce instruments rather than change things up. It's just something I have always done, and changing how I progress my songs would be rather difficult. I'm always looking for the easiest route, haha.
At 3:22, I have been trying to work on build ups, but I really am not too good at it. There's something about breaking up the song that gives me writer's block and I have no idea what to add or do to make it sound good. I still think the "scream" was a good idea, and to me it wasn't really expected by the listener, so it serves its purpose and sounds good doing so.

Thanks again for your review! I love getting reviews these days because it seems like they are so rare now. I remember the golden days of Newgrounds about 5 years ago when there'd be about 5-10 reviews on every single one of my songs. Newgrounds is dying in my eyes, but that's a story for another day, or the forums I suppose, haha.

Dont know the original track from FF so im gonna do a review counting this as an original:
Pretty nice mix, really full of synths that work together perfectly, sections well defined and well divided/presented. Very catchy riff!
Really good job Shadowaves!

Shadowaves responds:

Thanks a lot ! This music is more inspired than remixed : If you listen the original, you probably could recognize some notes but nothing more, in fact I uses some notes from it but all the rest (patterns, note sequences, effects, etc...) is made by me !
Thanks again for the support ^^

Bright and happy, this makes me smile :)
Great job TheTrooper :)

TheTrooper5 responds:

Thanks a lot. Glad to hear. *Cool hip Thumbs up emote*

This reminds me of a sonic industrial track, would work pretty well in a game :)
I feel the instruments are maybe a bit high and in your face at parts and somethings don't sound quite in the right tempo. But that might just be me xD
Great song StixRcrazy , i enjoyed it :D

StixRcrazy responds:

Thank you :p
I like over the top solo's, but I don't really know how to master my songs just yet :p

Ahh pretty cool :D
I love the mixture between Orchestral and 8bit.
The music is quite epic and uplifting. really like the choice of instruments and the overall mixing.
Great job skipspace! :)

skipspace responds:

Thanks! Glad you like it!

I like how the kick is in your face, the song itself has interesting moments but does not captivate me that much, a bit repetitive and the instruments end up becoming a bit old.
Good job anyway SlaughterClub :)

SlaughterClub responds:

thanks m8 i really didn't spends any time on this lol 5mins job ;-)))

Seems a bit atonic and creppy, im not sure if that was what you were aiming at.
The mixing is not good at all, everything sounds like it is clipping or has way too much distortion.
The riff itself is not bad at all and quite catchy, but you have to correct the horrible mixing.
Good luck in the future Ellis!

AlxEllis responds:

Thanks for the review and well yeah I kind of was hoping for it to be a little creepy xD like looking out of the rainy steamed up window, the hissing sound as the rain hammers against the road hence the distortion and that "phssh" sound I thought would be good like wind blowing against the trees?

Again it's an experimental track that I made at 3am haha so thought I'd upload it and see what it is like.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! :)

Has a really nice swing to it, reminds me of a light headed zombie game like "Zombies ate my Neighbors", it progresses wonderfully without getting boring at all and the mixing seems perfect to me. The loop works pretty well!
Great job EatMeatLeet!! :D

eatmeatleet responds:

thanks, a lot, glad you like it. I feel that I kind of improved, after all

Sometimes I make music.
But mostly, I think about making music, fail, get sad and give up.
