Really nice and professional with an excellent grunge feeling in it, the vocals are really good.

JacobusMusic responds:

Thank you sir !

After hearing your worked in a collab with one of my favorite NG composers (Buoy) i thought to myself.... dammit this guy deserves to be listened! So here i am xD....on to the review:
This song is very emotional and sad, the guitars are done with a precision and mastery in Midi that surpasses what i honestly thought possible, i couldn't guess that they could be so realistic!
Needless to say that the whole song is amazing and i personally enjoy A LOT the slower parts, the way you are able to transform the slow sad song into an upbeat almost inspirational anthem is admirable!
Im gonna keep my eyes on you from now forward you certainly deserve the attention!
Great job Step!

Hey, you're the guy who reviewed Legend a few months ago. Thanks for yet another review man!

Ha, well the word 'collab' makes it sound like I worked on the track a lot too. All I did was add a few instruments and effects in one of the parts, really. 99% of that amazing track is Buoy's work!

But I'm glad you came and left a review :3.

Yeah, I'm using some pretty expensive VSTs to achieve this sound. I think all of the sounds you're hearing here are actually recorded from real instruments (as in, they're not synthesised). That's what you get for dishing out hundreds of pounds on high-end VSTs.

Although I like to think that my mixing helps make the expensive instruments sound a LITTLE better at least haha.

That's great to hear. I'm still not very satisfied with the transitions here but they'll have to do; I had to rush this to get it in a contest on time.

Thanks so much dude, it's support like this that makes my day. Glad you enjoyed the track, thanks again for the great review!

This has a very happy and peaceful feeling to it and is very calming and enjoyable to listen to.
The only thing that needs some work done is in the department of humanization, the piece sounds overall a bit robotic instead of human, this is specially noticeable in the tambourine sounds you have, that is on my opinion the worst part of the piece.
Very good job wandschrank! (8.5/10)

wandschrank responds:

Thanks for your review! I was a bit in a hurry and had a tight deadline for those songs, so I sadly had no time for those important little details (especially humanization).. I hoped no one would notice, but now someone did! ;D

Nice song!
Its not something i usually listen to out of the club but i can see this playing there and people dancing like crazy to it :D
Good work housecat!

housecatt responds:

thanks DivoFst your comment Is appreciated :)

The song works great, it has a lot of tension that really makes you fear for your live. it would do wonders to a movie or game for sure!
It works so well that it could actually save the "oh my god scene in Troll 2" xD....just kidding not even this could save it...
But yeah amazing work stunkel!

stunkel responds:

Thanks! Yeah i'm glad that you experienced the emotion I was going for! And I don't think anything can save that movie DX Probably one of the funniest/horrible scenes I have ever seen!! Probably going to watch it 10 times now XD Thanks for the review man!

Very good, some parts have a Tomb Raider 1 feeling in them.

deadlyfishes responds:

That was a fun game! Thanks for your review, and now that you say that I notice that as well!

Its a new approach to the song and you nailed it, really good specially for something done in a hurry.
Cheers!

Genraltweet responds:

Why thank you! :D I appreciate it!

Really good on both vocals and instruments, this psychedelic/Hard Rock works really well and the quality is professional is all aspects.
Good luck for the future, im following your page to be uptaded on your work from now on :D

psycopathmusic responds:

thanks, dude.

Really emotional and well written, you sir are a great composer!
The percussion is really well used and does wonders when combined with those strings at 00:38, its one of my personal favorite part of the song, love the harps as well.
When someone is able to make themselves cry with their song you know it is awesome xD

samulis responds:

Wow... I am thrilled you found the emotional quality that rich. I am always thrilled when I can change a mind with mere notes. Since my NGADM entry, I have been working to implement more percussion in my pieces, and it sounds like I have reached a good amount! :D

Thanks again for the great comment!

This is very well done, you have lots of instruments and each one fills its own gap, you have filled the song in all ranges really well, great lows and great highs. I also find the composition really amazing and obviously you knew what you where doing here.

descara responds:

Thank you :)

Sometimes I make music.
But mostly, I think about making music, fail, get sad and give up.
