Well first of all i have to apologize for the fact that this review wont be as good as the other for 2 reasons, first i read some comments and i dont want to be repeating too much, and second after listening to Dreamland Chronicles - Evermore i dont really know what else to say about you xD
You once again showed me that you master panning in an amazing way, i would have to say that the way how you pan and choose the effects of your instruments is your most characteristic feature.
As for the song itself once again you started of great and hooked me with the intro, very dreamy indeed. I love 2:47, that scale with a middle eastern sound that you used on the guitar is really awesome.
This is another very solid piece from you but i disagree that it beats Dreamland.
Another excellent piece, congrats SkyeWintrest!

Your song starts out great, the delay and instruments you use are very dreamy and gets us on the right mood and completely caught by the song, as the song progresses it amazes me how you are able to add so much different things to the mix and keep each one of them flawlessly clear.
At 2:05 starts maybe the part of the song i like the least, although you made an incredible part on the brass or flute not sure which one is it, i feel that the percussion is a bit too much "in your face" style and i also dont like the background sound that sounds like a phased pad or something.
At 2:37 the songs totally gets my attention once again, it gets darker all of the sudden without me even noticing you making the change and i personally think the chimes work as a chilling element that elevates the spookiness of that part even further.
At 4:00 the song returns to the dreamy style that i love, and you nailed those guitar effects perfectly they send a strong dreamy feeling. Whenever the bass enters the song it is amazing, my congrats to that too.
So with that being said you obviously gained my respect and a new fan, your work is amazing!
Keep it going SkyeWintrest!

Really smooth and creative. the instruments were picked and mixed in an amazing way and everything fits together just perfect.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks! Hopefully my professor agrees with you, lol. :)

Its by playing with our weaknesses that we become stronger and surely composing out of our comfort zone is hard like hell but also fun!
I thing its really hard to remix Gangnam Style without vocals and you did what you could :D
As for the song itself it has all been said by Buoy.

Step responds:

Yeah, I finished this in one night while really tired, since there's a very strict deadline, so that probably didn't make it sound much better. And yeah going out of your comfort zone can be really awesome sometimes. In this case it wasn't but that's probably because I was told to make this rather than have the freedom to make it myself, so rather than willingly make music I was pretty much just following orders. Ah well, it'll be worth it in the end anyway.

Thanks for reviewing man.

I didn't even knew you were a musician as well, this is really good stuff, both your playing and your singing are great!
Jesus is there a thing you cant do?

Lots of potential to be a really cool rap song, lets see how it turns out on the full version.

Never played the game but this sounds really awesome, and from what i heard over on youtube you did quite an arrangement here.
You are 1 year younger than i am so i can totally relate to those feelings of nostalgia towards 90's games soundtracks....ill never forget them!

Sometimes I make music.
But mostly, I think about making music, fail, get sad and give up.
